On Monday May 8th from 5:30-7:30PM, the Portland Education Foundation will celebrate the classroom innovations and curricular enrichment opportunities made possible through our Teacher Grants program. Last year PEF awarded more than $54,000 to 71 classroom teachers in Portland’s public schools. With this event we seek to increase awareness about the program, raise support for the 2017 teacher grants cycle, and have some fun! In addition, L.L. Bean has generously donated twokayaks for our raffle.
So come to the event AND buy a raffle ticket, or just buy a raffle ticket if you can’t join us. You can purchase your tickets here. And you can learn more about PEF atwww.pefmaine.org.

Please take a few moments to complete the survey. It is available with the link below and we will have hard copies at Parent Teacher Conferences Monday March 20th and Tuesday March 21st. Thank you.

We have new start and end times for the 2016 -2017 school year. Our first bell will ring at 8:50 a.m. with a second bell at 9:00 a.m. to officially begin the school day.
We will continue to have universal breakfast for all students. Each morning breakfast will be delivered to all classrooms and readily available to all students as they enter the their classrooms. Students are required to select three out of the four offerings each day that they participate (One must be fruit). School will be dismissed at 3:30 p.m. each day. The only exception is Early Release Wednesdays when school will be dismissed at 2:30 p.m. Early Release Wednesdays run from October through May.
We will have staff on the playground for the supervision of students at 8:30 a.m. each morning. Please be sure that students do not arrive prior to 8:30 a.m. as there will be no supervision on the playground.
