All of Hall's students will have an opportunity to
vote for their favorite Chickadee or Maine Student Book Award
book this year on March 26th. These two state programs introduce
students to a variety of newly published children's books each
year. Students in grades K - 4 will vote for their favorite
from a list of 10 Chickadee books. Students in grades 4 and 5
who had read three or more of the Maine Student Book Award books
can vote for their favorite MSBA book. Students read and evaluate
the books so that they can decide which book they feel is the
best. This will be the fourth year that the students in
Mr. Fuller's and Ms. Lammers' fourth grade class conduct the election
using the library as the polling place.

was The Great Fuzz Frenzy by . The winning MSBA book was
The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan. On April 13 the winning

same titles as their favorites.
